After two on-site visits, the electronic remittance software is working well. Initial testing was done on site and via modem at two local Early Intervention agencies. Six electronic RA's were downloaded from the Medical Assistance bulletin board and used to create payment entry batches in R/Client. The payment entries created using the electronic RA matched the paper RA confirming the behavior of the new programs.

As part of the testing new summary and detail proof lists are being developed to help manage the new way of handling RA's.

The new electronic RA routines will also be made available to non-Early Intervention customers who are doing electronic billing to Medical Assistance
