Another interface for the R/Client for Children Claims Module was released today after successful testing with the Pennsylvania PROMISe system and a local agency that provides MR services in Allegheny County.

Service data is exported from the agency's custom Visual Basic system and translated by the R/Client for Children Claims Module into a HIPAA-compliant 837 electronic claim format and then uploaded to the state's claim processing system.

The module can be used by agencies participating in the PA MR Pilot Project in which residential services are billed to the state's PROMISe system and sent back to the local county for payment.
